Actor, writer and stand-up comedian Tony ‘Paleface’ Hendriks is preparing for a new round of the video light, with the arrival of his television comedy series See It Deh. The show premieres tonight, Sunday, April 3, 2016, on TVJ at 9pm.

The sketch comedy sees the return of Hendriks to Jamaican television, well over a decade after the end of his hugely popular satirical news show, Paleface Point of View

See It Deh pools an impressive and eclectic cadre of rising comedic talent. Along with Hendriks, the television show will feature comedian and satirical columnist Michael Abrahams, vlogger, writer and actor Carla ‘Moore Mayhem’ Moore, character actor and rising stand-up comedian Kathy Grant, as well as writer and actor Ricky Rowe. Both Rowe and Hendriks are currently up for Best Actor awards for their last foray together, Samson and Di Liar.

The show’s writing team includes Adrian Campbell and Tristan Allen creators of the hysterical satirical blog Ungrateful Soup.

Produced by Hendriks and TVJ, See It Deh will shine its lens on local and international current events. The show promises an eclectic and edgy blend of comedic monologues, satirical sketches, songs and poems in a medley of takes on culture, politics, and society.

See It Deh will have an eight-episode run, airing through to Sunday, May 22, 2016.
